Natick Nutrition smoothie & tea shop to bring the energy to town center

March 15, 2021 by Bob Brown 2 Comments

Natick Nutrition, being started by a mother-and-daughter team that will sell healthy smoothies, teas and coffees, is readying to open in the former Java’s space at 22 Main St., in Natick Center. The owners hope to open the shop in April.

This will be the 10th such [Your city/town] Nutrition shop to have opened up in the area, from Ashland to Marlborough to Milford. They’re all part of the Herbalife community that supports good nutrition and fitness.

Natick Nutrition has begun construction and is completely renovating the space within Natick’s Masonic Block.

Natick Nutrition’s Kathleen (mom) and Brittany (daughter) Gordon live in Mendon, and chose Natick for many reasons, including that they are very familiar with the area. Brittany says her mom grew up in Weston and her dad in Wellesley, and the family lived in Weston before moving to Mendon.

“The Natick community and events really excited us! Our goal is to work along side the schools, athletic programs and other businesses in the area! The downtown area is absolutely beautiful and we loved the store front the minute we saw it!” Brittany wrote excitedly, exclamation points coming fast and furious.

She says her mom started using Herbalife products “to jumpstart herself into a healthier lifestyle” and that Brittany began using them as well.  “I could just throw some powder in my bag with a water bottle and could make healthy choices while I coached all day,” says Brittany, a former preschool teacher, and a coach of all levels of cheerleading.

From there, Brittany started working at Milford Nutrition, “instantly fell in love with the fun exciting vibe, and the opportunity to meet new people,” and the next thing you know they were discussing opening a shop of their own.

Inside the concoctions of course are lots of caffeine, vitamins, electrolytes, and whatever it takes to keep your energy high and your mind sharp. “The teas are a healthy form of caffeine and don’t give you the caffeine crash mid afternoon,” Brittany says.

Mega Tea varieties include Love Potion, Bomb Pop, Liquid Sunshine, and more. Smoothies, packed with protein and fiber, boast flavors such as Peanut Butter Pie and Cake Batter, and feature lots of topping choices.

“Each protein smoothie is a fully balanced replacement meal, with 21 vitamins and minerals, 24-30 grams of protein, less than 5g sugar and under 250 calories,” Brittany says.

Protein coffees are on the menu, too.

These healthy beverages will in turn add to the health of Natick Center. According to Director of Community & Economic Development James Freas, this retail space had been the only significant storefront downtown not spoken for.

It’s an MLM scam. This is clearly a press release since you forgot to update with Natick where it says “your town here.”

No, it’s actually not a press release. We purposely wrote “[Your city/town] Nutrition shop” to indicate these businesses have been popping up with similar names (other than the town/city name). We also interviewed one of the owners.
