The share of Natick’s population fully vaccinated against COVID-19 has jumped from 25% to 30%, according to weekly data released by the state.
Natick has 10,629 residents fully vaccinated, and the state is now up over 1.9 million fully vaccinated against the disease.
Natick now boasts just over half of its population with at least 1 dose, up from 43% a week ago. The percentage of those age 65-74 who have been fully vaccinated jumped from 68% to 77%. About a third of those youngsters aged 50-64 have been fully vaxed, too.
Natick’s Health Department is now out of the COVID-19 vaccine game, though the Natick Mall has been busy doling out vaccines as one of the state’s mass vaccination sites.
All Massachusetts residents can preregister to book an appointment at mass.gov/COVIDVaccine. Appointments will be offered based on eligibility and available appointments nearby. More sites will come online as part of the preregistration process in April.
