The Town of Natick has a slew of job openings, including an immediate need for crossing guards as the school year begins.
Crossing guards, part of the police department, make $14 an hour and typically work a couple of hours a day.
The town also seeks to hire a communications information officer to oversee agency-wide communications and media related functions. Having a town flack can be a double-edged sword in that it can help better share town news but can also shield town leaders and other employees from communicating directly with constituents.
An assistant town clerk is also sought. This position involves planning and coordinating the day-to-day operations, functions and services in the seemingly always busy Town Clerk’s office.
With Public Health Director Jim White announcing plans to retire, his spot is up for grabs. With hopefully the worst of the pandemic over, this job should be a cinch, right?
