The Natick convenience store located at 54-58 East Central Street adjacent to Shanghai Tokyo, will close on October 15th, according to signs in the window and confirmed by staff.

Although officially a 7-11, most customers know the spot as Tedeschi, and with good reason. The sign over the front door identifies it as such, and there are multiple “T” logos throughout the store that agree.
Nevertheless, a 7-11 it is. What’s in a name, anyway? The important thing is that the go-to spot to run in for a soda, coffee, snacks, ice, windshield wiper fluid, and the usual odds and ends you’d expect to find at such a place will be missed.
No word yet on what might move into the busy storefront. We spoke briefly to a staff member who said workers all easily found new jobs nearby.
