Kathryn Coughlin announces her bid for one of the two open seats on Natick’s Select Board.
Kathryn served on the Natick Zoning Board of Appeals for over five years and on Town Meeting, as well as used her fundraising experience to raise money for local non-profits. In addition, Kathryn has consulted pro bono with local non-profits, educational institutions, and refugee immigration attorneys on social and political issues in the global Muslim world. She is the former owner of Sherborn Wine & Spirits.
Kathryn and her husband Shomo De moved to Natick in 2002 from Arlington, Virginia, where she was working on her doctoral degree in Islamic History at Georgetown University specializing in law and gender. She holds a BA in History from Berea College and a MA in History from Georgetown University.
Natick Select Board member Sue Salamoff recently announced she would not run for re- election. Select Board member Rick Jennett is currently up for re-election. The election will be held on March 29, 2022.
