If you would like a turkey dinner with all the fixings delivered to your home on Thanksgiving Day, please leave a message at 508-647-6540 x6571 with your name and phone number by Monday, November 8th. Your call will be returned.
Turkeys for Vets program
Natick Amvets Post # 79 and Camp Arrowhead, American Veterans Recreation Association are once again sponsoring the annual “Turkey for Vets” program. Free turkeys and dressings will be provided to local area veterans for the Thanksgiving holiday as a way to thank them for their service.
Veterans should respond before noon on Thursday, November 18, indicating whether they want a frozen turkey and/or a $20 gift card to Roche Bros, Stop & Shop or Wegmans.
Any Metro-West area veteran who would like to receive a turkey and a gift card must come to AMVETS Post #79 on Saturday, November 20 on the day of the event. Any current veteran member of Post #79 may request that a gift card be mailed to them.
This offer is NOT based on economic need, so veterans should not hesitate to respond to this offer. Turkeys and/or gift cards will be available for pick up at the Natick Amvets Post #79, 79 Superior Drive, 10am-2pm on Saturday, November 20.
To reserve a turkey or gift card, veterans should contact turkey4vets@gmail.com with their name, military status, branch, and best contact information. Organizers will do their best to accommodate specific requests for gift cards based upon availability.
