No more free parking in Natick—the holidays must really be over

January 2, 2022 by Deborah Brown Leave a Comment

It’s been fun, but as of Mon., Jan. 3rd, visitors who want to shop and dine in Natick Center will have to pay to park. Meters in the downtown area have since late November been decked out in red plastic hoods to indicate that parking was free for up to two hours. The idea was to encourage a strong holiday crowd presence in the area. With 2022 rolling in, the meters’ holiday finery has been stripped away, leaving them to face a cold winter without a thing to wear.
