The state fire marshal announced that 60 firefighters—4 from the Natick Fire Department —graduated from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy on Friday, May 20.
Graduates completed the 50-day Career Recruit Firefighting Training Program at three campuses, including Stow, where the Natick firefighters attended.

- Justin Foster
- Andrew McIntosh
- Skyler Sarkisian
Students received classroom training in all basic firefighter skills. They practice dfirst under non-fire conditions and then during controlled fire conditions. To graduate, students had to demonstrate proficiency in life safety, search and rescue, ladder operations, water supply, pump operation, and fire attack, from mailbox fires to multiple floor or room structural fires.
