Natick’s Select Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 15 at 6:30pm to discuss a request to dedicate a square in honor of the Casali family. The square would be dedicated at the intersection of Oakland Street and Oakland Terrace.
The meeting will be held at Town Hall, but can also be attended online.
Natick Director of Veteran Services Paul Carew made the request to honor three brothers—William, Flory, and Caesar Casali—who served in the military. The dedication is proposed for July 2.
- Flory Casali: Army, Private; Honorable discharge
- William Casali: Army, Private First Class; Honorable discharge; Decorations (European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal)
- Caesar Casali: SMSGT E-8, Air Force; Honorable discharge (almost 30 years); Decorations (National Defense, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, American Theater Medal, WWII Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal with 5 loops, Air Force Longevity Service Award /5 oak leaf clusters, Air Force Medal)
