From the Natick Water Division:
Starting Monday April 17, 2023 semi-annual water quality hydrant flushing will resume and will continue Monday through Thursday during the overnight hours for several weeks. This is a general town wide notice.
You will be notified via email on the day overnight flushing is happening in your neighborhood or check for daily updates at https://www.natickma.gov/1198/
Hydrant flushing is an essential process in the maintenance of all potable water systems. The appearance of discolored water may occur in your area. If you notice discolored water in the morning it can be removed by running cold water through the faucet closest to your water meter for 20 minutes.
We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Department of Public Works Water Division at 508-647-6557.
Please share this information with your neighbors and encourage them to sign up with Natick WaterSmart to receive the latest information.
