While we generally resist mentioning any of the endless list of “national” days or weeks or months, we will highlight National Cinema Day since you literally can buy movie tickets on Sunday, Aug. 27 for $4 (well, plus fees online) instead of usual $14-$16 at the Natick IMAX theatre at Jordan’s Furniture. The only option that day is to see Oppenheimer at 3pm or 7pm.

Many other local theatres are also participating in the discount movie ticket day.
Natick’s IMAX reopened last spring after closing during the pandemic.
