The Natick Academy of Performing Arts this weekend will bring Disney’s “Newsies, Jr.” musical to Kennedy Middle School (165 Mill St., Natick) .
The shows will be performed at 7pm on Saturday, Aug. 12 and 1pm on Sunday, Aug. 13. Tickets: $10.
The play is based on the 1992 Broadway musical featuring a spunky newspaper hawker who rallies others to stick up for themselves. We look forward to the sequel, when independent online news editors like ourselves are seizing the day in songs and rallying the masses to support our efforts.
