Given Natick’s endless road construction projects it should come as no surprise that the police are seeking assistance on traffic details. The Natick Police Department has posted an application for traffic constables to assist at construction sites and large pre-planned events.
The job requirements include “consistent attention and commitment to this agency’s mission.” This isn’t a risk-free endeavor, after all, given the driving habits of some.
Pay is estimated to be $35-$50 an hour.
Preference will be for retired law enforcement officers.
