Anthology of Natick, the 86-unit assisted living and memory care complex on Rte. 135 in Natick at 119 East Central St., will be throwing itself a party on Tuesday, Sept. 19 from 4:30-7:30pm as a grand opening.
A string quartet, hors d’oeuvres, and bubbly champagne are on tap. Oooh, fancy. (If you stop by, please tell them you saw this in Natick Report.)
I took a tour of the facility shortly before this year’s Boston Marathon (units facing that way have great views of the course), and it is an impressive place, with a safety-first approach to room design, lots of common space (including a movie theatre), and access to a walking path with a woodsy view out back. It is also located adjacent to the Natick Community-Senior Center.
Anthology’s executive director has been among those in Natick urging the town not to allow another senior living facility to be built nearby at the top of Pond Road.
Anthology was in the works for several years, at least back to 2019.
