Natick has launched an initiative to develop a town brand designed to help the municipality communicate what it’s all about wherever you go within the community. In speaking to Natick Communications Director Jay Poropatich over the weekend at Natick Days, where he was hosting a table about the branding effort, he mentioned knowing of only a few other local communities that have such brands (Salem, among them).
(The branding plan should not be confused with the recent Town Seal redesign effort, as the seal is more for select and official purposes.)
A hybrid meeting on the brand project will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13 from 6:30-8pm at Morse Institute Library:
-
6:30 – 7:30 PM, Town staff to provide project overview, logo narrative (pre-recorded by designer), & a Q&A session
-
7:30 – 8:00 PM, open house-style session for informal discussions
If you can’t make the meeting, you can still help with the branding effort by taking a survey to input in initial design concepts. The survey’s open until Sept. 20.
