Congratulations to the Natick High School girls soccer team, which lived up to its #1 seed in beating #2 seed Bishop Feehan on Saturday by a 2-0 score in Walpole to win the Division 1 state title. It is the team’s second state title in the span of three years.

Kyra Henderson put the Redhawks up 1-0 in the 21st minute of the game, and Cassidy Moriarty made it 2-0 about 9 minutes later for a lead Natick wouldn’t relinquish. Keeper Katie McMahon and Natick’s defense secured the shutout.
