The Natick Select Board pledge of tolerance
The Board of Selectmen affirms that Natick is a community that cares about its citizens and those who work, play, or simply come to visit. Natick has always shown that each individual should be treated with dignity and respect, and we oppose all expressions of hatred, intolerance, and discrimination. The Board of Selectmen encourages our community to continue to demonstrate that we are a caring and supportive community for all.
Natick Public Schools’ commitment to Social Justice
The past year [2020] has been a challenging one for our country in terms of various, much-publicized incidents that involve issues of social justice. As the media swirls during these moments, we have often made formal statements of our values to counter these incidents and make local sense of the news cycle. However, while we communicate when we believe it will assist in understanding or reducing fear, we recognized the need to share a wider overview of our work and values in social justice education to demonstrate to all how the Natick Schools systematically and daily, live with social justice values and orientation.
