10,000 Maniacs to perform at TCAN fundraiser

TCAN’s annual fundraiser event features the band 10,000 Maniacs on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 7:30pm. The member presale begins on Sept 4, with tickets to the public on sale Sept. 6 at 1pm. Tickets cost $200 apiece.

Proceeds from the Annual Benefit support TCAN’s nonprofit mission to present artistic programming and community outreach initiatives throughout the year.

If you haven’t kept up with 10,000 Maniacs since the band started in 1981, they haven’t been led by Natalie Merchant since the early 1990s. They’ve carried on with vocalist Mary Ramsey (we saw them perform years ago at The Verve in Natick and they were good).

TCAN is seeking sponsors for the program. Contact Nicola Anderson at nicola@tcan.org for more on that.

Patrons of the event purchasing single tickets receive reserved seating for the concert, and a commemorative gift. A portion of each ticket is fully tax-deductible.
