Herb Crehan has been interviewing and writing feature articles on former Red Sox stars for the team’s official program and alumni magazine for 28 seasons. Over the years the question he has been asked most frequently is “What was Ted Williams really like?” or “What is Bill Lee really like?” Fans know the players from their performance on the field and TV interviews but they are also interested in what the players are like up close and personal. Herb will highlight eight fan favorite Red Sox players representing a decade beginning with Ted Williams for the 1940s through Jonny Gomes representing the teens of the twenty-first
century sharing insights and colorful stories about each player. Questions welcomed.
Hear from Herb on Tuesday, June 27, 1:30-2:30pm at Natick Community Senior Center, 117 East Central St, Natick. Call 508-647-6540 to register.
Red Sox World Series Trophy will be at the Community Senior Center from noon-3pm on Tuesday, June 27 (get your picture taken with it).
There will also be cake served in honor of Herb Crehan turning 80.
