QPR Suicide Prevention Training session

Natick 180 will sponsor a QPR Suicide Prevention Training session in partnership with the QPR Institute on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 6pm-8pm, at the Natick Community Senior Center, room 125. Contact Natick 180 to register.

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps the QPR Institute says that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. The support organization says on their website, “Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.”
