A furniture maker called Whom Home is coming soon to Natick Mall, boasting of its custom-built options and its dedication to sustainable manufacturing. For some reason the company sometimes sticks a period after the word “Whom.”
The company, which makes its products in Mexico, began selling to consumers a couple of years ago and has been largely a digital-only brand until recently.
Its flagship store is in Los Angeles, and the retailer has plans to open new ones in Florida, Virginia, and Massachusetts at Natick Mall. Whom Home is looking to open at the Natick Mall by mid-February.
Whom Home’s arrival might offset the recent departure of Wayfair, which opened its first brick-and-mortar shop at Natick Mall in August of 2019 and departed at the end of last year.
Whom Home is a division of Innova Luxury Group and PTM Images, which has been around since 1995. Whom emphasizes its commitment to responsible manufacturing: “Our wood is all solid hardwood, and for every tree harvested for our wood, 40 trees are planted in replacement.”
A cruise through its website finds beds ranging in price from $1,700 to $2,400, and dining tables from $900 to $1,400. They sell pet beds and feeders, too.
We’ve put Whom’s customer service to the test by asking about when the retailer might open, and will update this post if we get a response.
