While we’re not sure what about Natick lured the producers of the movie “I Care a Lot” to film in town back in 2019, those of you with access to Netflix can find out as of Feb. 19, assuming Natick survived the editing process. That’s when film debuts on Netflix.
Leonard Morse Hospital gets a starring role in a key scene toward the end of the movie in which a couple of the main characters are plotting and scheming.
The blurb from Netflix about the film describes it like this: “A court-appointed legal guardian defrauds her older clients and traps them under her care. But her latest mark comes with some unexpected baggage.” The dark comedy had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
The movie stars Rosamund Pike, Peter Dinklage, Eiza González and Dianne Wiest.
Knives Out and Labor Day are among other movies filmed in Natick in recent years.
