TCAN in Natick Center continues to show movies on its premises, but the latest reopening rules outlined by the state don’t go far enough to support the reintroduction of live music performances at the entertainment venue.
Indoor performance venues, including concert halls and theaters, were allowed to reopen as of March 1 at 50% capacity.
But TCAN says the rules, including no singing or discouragement of playing of brass and wind instruments, “severely limit TCAN’s ability to move forward with any regularly scheduled performances at the present time.”
Changes to schedule dates of previously confirmed performances will be announced by email to current ticket holders, and posted on the TCAN website on this list of Rescheduled and Postponed Performances.
TCAN is showing movies at the venue, with Meryl Streep the star of the shows this month, and following COVID-19 safety protocols.
