Update: 8/21/20—A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to help the Natick couple injured in this accident with medical expenses. The fundraising page has been set up by the injured woman’s cousin.
Natick Police continue investigating the horrific Tuesday night hit-and-run accident on Washington Avenue, that resulted in a man and woman being airlifted to the hospital for serious injuries.
According to WCVB-TV, the man has been released from the hospital, while the woman is still being treated. Police confirmed that the truck believed to be involved has been located and that they have identified a person of interest in the case.
Witnesses reported that the truck was driven by a woman, who let out to two teen boys, who took off on foot.
Why don’t they release the name of the driver? Why haven’t we learned who caused this horrific accident and then left the terribly injured couple at the scene of the crime rather than help the two innocent victims immediately?
