Those attending Natick’s Holiday Stroll on Saturday afternoon were doing a bit more hunkering and skittering than strolling from what I could see due to a wintry mix of weather, but with Santa, singers, and other attractions, locals braved the elements. The mix of snow and rain made the hot chocolate taste that much better.
I got there just as the Sound & Spirit singers apparently finished their set in front of First Congregational Church, as a happy collection congregated under several tents.
From there, Santa Claus, umbrella overhead, caught my eye. He naturally was accompanied by the ubiquitous Athena Pandolf of Natick Center Cultural District.
“How do you like the liquid snow?” he asked his adoring fandom, which lined up to meet and greet him.
Vendors showed their wares under sidewalk tents, and attendees ducked into retailers to scope out not-so-last minute gifts.
The holiday action has been nonstop in Natick this season.
