Bosse partnering with DraftKings at Natick Mall pickleball facility
The latest twist in the Natick Mall’s metamorphosis into an entertainment complex: Bosse, which next months plans to open its pickleball emporium, has partnered with sports betting and fantasy league firm DraftKings. This will give patrons age 21-plus a chance take part in sports betting and other activities within the Bosse Sports Lounge, one of several restaurants at the pickleball facility.
According to the pitch, the lounge “will feature an immersive sports experience with DraftKings branding integrated throughout the space, in addition to DraftKings running promotions throughout the year, engaging fans around key tentpole sports moments.” The space will include a 12-footby-19-foot live sports video wall, golf simulators, electronic darts, and more.

Another Natick Crossings departure
FlexPlus Physical Therapy has given notice that it’s moving from Natick Crossings at the West Natick commuter rail station retail strip to 40 Speen St., in Framingham. Plans are to be operating in the new location by Thanksgiving.
The Natick Crossings retail area is becoming more and more of a ghost town, with the departure of such longtime tenants at Brooklyn New York Pizza, the third pizza shop to close in Natick this year.
Another recent departure was Mirage Hair Design, which moved to the Roche Bros. plaza.
The town earlier this year held a forum exploring possible redevelopment of the stretch along Rte. 135 that includes the train station.

Community & Economic Development 101

According to the town, this department comprises a “series of offices that support economic growth and business retention, inspection services, conservation and protection of natural resources and land, permitting and planning, preservation of historic structures and neighborhoods, creation of diverse housing, and increased transportation options.”

Natick crossings is becoming an apartment bldg from information by one of the last tenants there, the laundromat owners state everyone has to vacate by December 31, owner of property supposedly will demolishe with underground parking with new retail space and apartments
Thanks, been trying to figure out what’s going on there
Its sad that the apartments are going to cost 4x or 5x most peoples mortgage. So much for “afforable housing” “:(
